On a typical weekday in early 2023, we began with a simple belief: finance teams deserve better. Not just better dashboards or prettier spreadsheets — but better systems. Systems that don’t wait for quarter-end to give you visibility. Systems that aren’t glued together by consultants. Systems that actually understand the chaos of omnichannel revenue, payment partners, and reconciliation.
Today, just over a year later, we’re thrilled to share that ZenStatement has raised $1.6 million in seed funding, led by 3One4 Capital and BoldCap Ventures, with participation from Dynamis Ventures, Atrium Angels, and a host of incredible operators and angels from companies we admire.
This milestone is validation — not just of our product or vision, but of a pain that every finance team feels and of the future we’re building together.

From Scrappy Conversations to a Full-Stack Finance Engine
We started with conversations — 30-minute chats that turned into whiteboard sessions and late-night calls with finance heads across retail, F&B, fintech, D2C, and marketplaces. Everyone had a slightly different stack, but the same broken loop:
- Data flowing in from 10+ platforms, but no clarity on what’s settled
- Teams spending weeks matching transactions instead of analyzing them
- A growing demand from leadership for real-time insights, but no system to deliver it
- Cash flow “visibility” still dependent on manual Excel gymnastics
So we built ZenStatement.
A platform that starts where the problem starts — with transaction-level chaos — and gives finance teams a way to clean, match, reconcile, and report with clarity and control. Our mission wasn’t just to plug the gaps. We wanted to rebuild the foundation of operational finance with automation, intelligence, and empathy.

The Road So Far: Product, People, Progress
Over the past 12 months:
- We’ve processed over 10 million transactions a month, from marketplaces, POS systems, payment gateways, ERPs, and more.
- We’ve worked with high-growth D2C brands, retail chains, and fintechs who trusted us as a core part of their finance stack.
- We kept our onboarding simple. No lengthy manuals, no consultants. Just plug in your data, confirm the logic, and start reconciling.
- We layered in AI to make finance accessible, from natural-language cash flow queries to intelligent matching and anomaly detection.
- Wse listened obsessively — to FP&A heads, controllers, CFOs, and store ops leaders — and kept building quietly, thoughtfully.
This fundraise allows us to go faster. To deepen our product stack, expand our AI capabilities, and most importantly, invest in our customers’ success. Whether you’re a 5-store F&B chain figuring out Swiggy vs Zomato settlements, or a 500-person omnichannel brand managing 15 revenue streams — we’re here for your finance team.

A Note of Gratitude
This moment is possible because of the belief of a few early customers, who took a bet on us before there was a product. To the finance heads who opened up their problems without holding back — thank you. You made us sharper.
To our investors — Pranav Pai and the team at 3One4, Rohit from BoldCap, Dynamis, Atrium Angels, and operators like Michael Boyd (ex-Apple), Kulin Shah (Onsurity), Ankit Nagori (Curefoods), and Ankit Fatehpuria (Zetwerk)— your belief in the next-generation finance stack means the world to us.
And finally, to our team — the small group of builders who could see the big picture even while solving the nitty-gritty — thank you for being relentless, creative, and grounded.

What’s Next
This is just the beginning.
We’re expanding our product capabilities, making reconciliation logic more customizable, building deeper integrations with ERPs, and launching smarter cash flow forecasting modules — all while keeping the experience simple and intuitive.
If you’re a finance team navigating growth, channel complexity, or reconciliation hell — we’d love to talk. Book a demo, drop us a line, or just follow our journey.
To every controller, FP&A analyst, and CFO building the future of finance — we’re building this for you.
